2016 Summit Initiatives Benefiting Students, Government, Military, Police & Business Leaders
The months leading up to the Global Leadership Summit this August are exciting for our staff and volunteers as we prepare to create an incredible experience for some of the most amazing leaders in the world!
Our team in the field have been traveling the country encouraging leaders, promoting the Summit, making connections and expanding the Summit in places where the impact has a multiplying effect in churches, organizations and communities. With a vision to help Christians grow their leadership to maximize Kingdom impact, the Summit benefits leaders in every sector of society, not just church leaders. Imagine the ripple effect on the lives of these students, government, military, police and business leaders. We’re so excited about what God will do through these initiatives!
Investing in the next generation
Building a better city
Leaders from Bismarck, North Dakota gathered for a meeting to collaborate on a city-Summit movement. The Bismarck Mayor shared with the group, “Our city is currently fractured. This Summit could not come at a better time.”
Strengthening the leadership skills of the military
Equipping the first responders in Las Vegas, Nevada
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (a Summit host site) is using the Summit to train their teams. They are also expanding the Summit to their two jails using inmate generated funds. The Las Vegas Fire Department, North Las Vegas Police Department and Clark County Fire Department are all registering for the Summit this year, achieving the Las Vegas Police Department vision of a Summit for Southern Nevada’s first responders.
